In the Helsinki region, the unemployment rates of both women and men decreased from the previous year
According to the sample-based Labour Force Survey by Statistics Finland, the unemployment rate in the Helsinki region was 0.6 percentage points higher in the fourth quarter of 2022 compared to the corresponding period in the previous year. The Finnish unemployment rate remained almost on a par with the previous year. In October–December, the unemployment rate was 6.3 per cent in the Helsinki region and 6.2 per cent in the whole country.
In the Helsinki region, the unemployment rates of both women and men decreased in the last quarter of 2022 from the previous year. At the national level, the unemployment rates of men and women also remained almost unchanged.
The unemployment rate unemployment rate was 5.9 per cent for women and 6.7 per cent for men in the Helsinki region. In all of Finland, the unemployment rate was 5.6 per cent for women and 6.7 per cent for men.
