Numbers of vacant jobs continue to grow
By the end of December, there were 17 per cent more vacant jobs in the Helsinki region’s Employment and Economic Development Offices compared to the year before. The relative number of vacant jobs at the national level increased similarly.
For every vacant job in the Helsinki region, there were approximately 5 unemployed applicants. The number of vacant jobs in the Helsinki region was 13,200, which constitutes slightly approximately a third of all vacant jobs in the country.
Number of open vacancies has been increasing since 2015
The number of vacant jobs registered with Employment and Economic Development Offices has been increasing in the Helsinki region since 2015.
