Almost one third of vacant jobs in Finland located in the Helsinki region
By the end of June, there were 13 per cent more vacant jobs in the Helsinki region’s Employment and Economic Development Offices compared to the year before. Number of vacant jobs increased nationally by 9 per cent.
For every vacant job in the Helsinki region, there were approximately 4.6 unemployed applicants. The number of vacant jobs in the Helsinki region was 15,150, which represents slightly under a third of all vacant jobs in the country.
Number of open vacancies has been increasing since 2015
The number of vacant jobs registered with the Employment and Economic Development Offices has been going up in the Helsinki region since 2015.
